Maestà

While I was studying at the Academy I was asked to draw the scenery for a performance of Shakespeare’s King Lear. I designed wings of different heights, some earth to sky, some others a few centimeters hung on the stage floor. Everything formed a forest of passages. Years later, Maestà originated from this idea.
